Located on top of Sanxing Mountain, Yilan, the project is surrounded by luscious slopes and commands a stunning view of Guishan Island in the distance. As Taiwan’s first large-scale resort hotel, this project features a hotel building, an event venue building, a hot spring building, and a villa community, all arranged to match the texture of the land. By placing indoor components in a sequential order according to the multi-layered, panoramic outdoor views and adopting building materials endemic to Taiwan, the designer collected tidbits of the country’s culture and distinctive qualities before incorporating them into this space which offers vast verdancy and starry sky for travelers seeking a restful environment.
